How would you describe your work?
Captured contours develop schemes through processes of collection and order, which are constantly sorting, restructuring and ordering against each other.
Fragments and forms generate representatives that circulate through the materials.
Colour fields, objects, patterns and arrangements emerge.
The work in ensembles, similar to an experimental arrangement, always creates and must be documented in its ramifications and multiplying layers—equal to a bureaucratic procedure that is, however, mobile, adaptive and billowing.
Everything proliferates and to me, the particular work seems to me to be an intermediate fixation, a fragment of the apparatus, that, similar to a mobile, creates connections and disgorges wobbly templates.
My approach of working in scenarios stems from an uncertainty about the functioning of the singular piece.
Wie würdest du deine Arbeit beschreiben?
Aufgenommene Umrisse entwickeln über Sammel- und Ordnungsprozesse Schemen, die sich stetig sortieren, umschichten und aneinander anordnen.
Fragmente und Formen generieren Stellvertreter, welche durch die Materialien zirkulieren.
Farbflächen und Objekte, Muster und Arrangements ergeben sich.
Die Arbeit in Ensembles, gleich einer Versuchsanordnung, generiert allweil und muss in ihren Verästelungen und sich multiplizierenden layers dokumentiert werden – gleich einer bürokratischen Prozedur, die jedoch beweglich, adaptiv und wabernd ist.
Alles wuchert und die einzelne Arbeit scheint mir eine zwischenzeitliche Fixation, ein Fragment des Apparats, der, einem Mobile ähnlich, Verbindungen knüpft und wacklige Schablonen ausspuckt.
Über die Funktionstüchtigkeit des singulären Teilstücks unsicher, arbeite ich in Szenarien.

What materials and techniques do you work with?
Groups of turned objects made of wood, metal and lacquer. Textile surfaces, layers. Papers, cloth, pasted over, overprinted. Constellations of everything—the continuity forms the grouping encounters. The variable 'material' also constructs framework conditions and, ensuingly, creates issues of translation.
Mit welchen Materialien und Techniken arbeitest du?
Gruppen von gedrehten Objekten aus Holz, Metall und Lack. Textile Flächen, Schichten. Papiere, Tuch, Überklebtes, Überdrucktes. Konstellationen aus allem – die Kontinuität bildet das Zusammenkommen. Und die Variable ›Material‹ konstruiert auch Rahmenbedingungen, bringt Übersetzungsprobleme mit sich.

Is there an approach, a way of working in the further process?
The attempt to navigate through the jungle—at times concentrating and straining to find pearls and at times beating one's way through the woods with a machete. Ultimately, to be on the lookout for discoveries—the observations are condensed into a recurring phenomenon at every vantage point: why does what float to the surface and when does it do it?
Gibt es eine Herangehensweise, eine Arbeitsweise im weiteren Prozess?
Der Versuch sich im Wust zu orientieren – zeitweise konzentriert und angestrengt nach Perlen tauchen und sich zeitweise mit der Machete durch Gehölz schlagen. Letztlich auf Entdeckungen aus sein, und bei jedem Aussichtspunkt verdichten sich die Beobachtungen zum wiederkehrenden Phänomen: Warum was wann an die Oberfläche treibt.

What do you encounter and can temporarily remain on the surface? Or trigger a swell, so to speak?
Glass cabinets and their gaps.
Material encounters.
Words amongst each other and colours amongst other, that begin to stick together through their combinations.
Was begegnet dir und kann zeitweilig an der Oberfläche bleiben? Oder sozusagen Wellengang auslösen?
Schauvitrinen und ihre Lücken.
Materialbegegnungen.
Wörter untereinander und Farben miteinander, die in Kombinationen beginnen zusammen zu kleben.
